Daystate air ranger .22 regulate and 20fpe tune?

You don't need to regulate it... very good self regulating valve. There is a stroke adjustment that allows you to turn it down. You can likely YT search it but involves removing the stock, finding and loosening the unlock screw and adjusting the stroke to the velocity you desire. At sub 20 ft lb, I found the 13.4s shoot better than the 14.3s. You didn't say, but since you mentioned 35 ft lb, I'm guessing it's a 22.

Not sure if this is can be done, but I really enjoy shooting my Air Ranger. I know it's an older gun but it fits me perfectly. It is currently 35fpe I would love to regulate it and turn it down to 20fpe for Field Target use. Is this possible? Thanks in advance for the help.
Rob lane has a reg easily installed once you remove the bottle.
let him know what you are looking for and it should be a bolt on,kelly

That's fantastic to know. I think I'm going to go with the Rob Lane regulator for 20 foot pounds. does anyone know if I still have to change the stroke of the gun ( as the first person to post had said. I've never done this before and didn't know it could be done) if I buy a regulator set up by Rob Lane to shoot 20 FPE? Or is the regulator change all I need. Thank you in advance for all the info

Check his website ,you likely will need to tune to go sub 20 as you are 35 fpe now,tun might just be for best efficiency but who knows. ,kelly
