Daystate Airwolf MCT questions

How is the battery life and charging connection hold up on the MCT. It looks like the charging port could stop working like every cell phone I have ever owned has. I would like to get the MCT but these two questions keep me away. With the renegade it's a matter of having a spare 9volt in your case, no biggie. Thoughts or experience with my two concerns?

I have never run out of juice after several hours of target shooting. The computer shows the % of power left. As for the plug it is the same run of the mill plug used since the 80's. The battery looks like several batteries heat wrapped that could be made by a local battery store. I have had units made for other devices like this for cheap.

Earlier this year I owned both the .25 Airwolf and the Fx Royale 500 at the same time. The Airwolf was more efficient but it was heavier and cost more. Accuracy was very similar. In the end I sold the Airwolf and kept the Fx Royale because I preferred the feel of the Fx. You may not find a huge demand for the used Airwolf, which might mean you could get a good deal on a used Airwolf. Now I am thinking about the Crown, so I will be interested in what you think, Tom, after you make the comparisons.

Had one in .22. Only complaints were 1. Weight, and 2. So accurate that it was down right boring! Beautiful AG. Ultra accurate. Superb trigger, and very smooth bolt. Very quiet. Loved-it!

I'm not buying the earlier post saying that the Board at 890 fps would only allow 18 shots. I had a Hatsan Nova in .25 ( shipped it back to pa due to lack of quality yesterday), that got well over 60 shots at 915 fps with the 24 gr JSB's..

I have had a 22 cal Airwolf for about a year. I have swapped out the cpu board for one of Jack's. It has 12 power settings, you can tweak each with 20 different sub settings, plus you can change the capacitor voltage and then you can tweak each of the 12 settings by a factor of .95 to 1.05 in .01 increments. That's 2400 settings not counting the capacitor voltage change. The display also shows remaining shots. Right now I am at 204 bar and have 220 shots remaining at 1.03 times power setting 7 shooting a 14.3 crossman at 840 f/sec.

He also has an extreme version of the board that will get 50 ftlbs in 0.22 from 250 bars-220 bars with a 29 grain pellet and 10 equal shots. While these tanks are tested, supposedly to at least 1.5 times I don't fill past 230 bar. By example,

If you fill up to 230 bar at 41 deg Fahrenheit and the temp rises to 77 deg Fahrenheit your bottle pressure will be 246.5 bar, at 85 degrees it is 250 bar.
Hi big Ben , did the power go up on the hello board when you fitted it , or did it stay a sub 12lb per foot ??
