Reading this I am wondering. Is an out of the box HP (not sub 12) DW (I am thinking to get one in .22) considered a "loud" PCP rifle? Could someone compare it to an FX Impact M3 please? TY!

Depends on how much air you use to push the pellets - if you stay sub sonic a simple hugget works greatI guess I will find out. I traded my M3 for $1400 to AOA for the DW in .22 with the valve upgrade.
With the M3 I was shooting 31gr NSA slugs in .22. But with this I am going back to 15-18gr H&N hornets and barracudas, etc. I shoot raccoons mostly at 15 yards, up to 20 yards tops. That DonnyFL RYU looks good though.Depends on how much air you use to push the pellets - if you stay sub sonic a simple hugget works great
Hugget Snipe works well on themWith the M3 I was shooting 31gr NSA slugs in .22. But with this I am going back to 15-18gr H&N hornets and barracudas, etc. I shoot raccoons mostly at 15 yards, up to 20 yards tops. That DonnyFL RYU looks good though.
That looks really good.My solution to mods causing Poi shift was to make a silenced overshroud so now no Poi shift and a bit quieter.
Well what matters is pushing the lead at a stable speed while not wasting air…slugs do better a higher speeds… over 900 fps? Dunno… what’s your chronograph saying? With the M3 I was shooting 31gr NSA slugs in .22. i like your butt hook - how did you create the interface.... don't mean to derail the thread. That looks really good.
I don't have the DW yet. UPS has it still.Well what matters is pushing the lead at a stable speed while not wasting air…slugs do better a higher speeds… over 900 fps? Dunno… what’s your chronograph saying?
