Daystate Daystate Alpha Wolf Smart power adjustment

Yes, this is my plan too. This way you have some head room to adjust the tune. Mine is the .25, but I’d like to see the pics, Thank you. Mine came from the dealer set for jsb knockouts, reg. 168, power 100%. There was not much nuance to the tune. Based on sound and air usage, I’m certain it’s wasting air. I will be diving into the advanced tuning soon. Any recommendations or resources would be welcome. I’m not new to daystate, but I am new to electronic tuning.
Here are the Factory settings for FAC .25 caliber. They will get you close to what you want and you can tweek from there.

Thank you!!$!
No problem. I was told to set reg. pressure 5 or so above the minimum, then tweek dwell and voltage from there. Dwell is how long the valve stays open and voltage is how hard the valve is hit/ air used. Now your work begins..
Its a really dark and deep rabbit hole, and everyone has an opinion on the setting in Advanced mode.

Here are the % in power mode set from the factory on the Smart Wolf. There isn't much change shooting now as the % would lead you to believe. BUT I have found out, you can add % and change the % dwell and voltage similar to advanced mode. So you can put in a 73% or a 82%. The % isn't REALLY a % of anything, it's more like a setting for a particular fps. But you can adjust the bar as you shoot, without going into advanced mode to increase velocity. I think I'm going to like it.

I’ve found all air guns have issues of one sort or another. There has only ever been one perfect pcp, and it is the Air Arms S410. The only reason that it was perfect is because it’s the 1st pcp I ever owned. It was unregulated and I was told it shot X velocity for x many shots. I happily shot it in ignorant bliss. I then moved on to other rifles……..and went down the rabbit hole. 😂

I think if you settled to how where and why you are shooting you would find the ghost better than the s410. I say this because i just came in from my 10 m indoor range and put 40 shots in a 1/4” bull with my field target gun. And that was from bucket and styx. The ghost is an exceptional gun so long as you’re not changing things all the time.

I was being facetious. I started shooting pcp’s around 20 years ago, and my point was that it started out very simplistically , and then became very complex, as it does for many here on this forum. The S410 represents the simplicity.
