Price is going to be the real deal!
Daystate's offering is why I'm avoiding all PCP considerations until after IWA. I might not like what they come out with, but have high expectations.
Yup, should be. I have a feeling the bar will be raised a bit, Hope I’m not wrong. Only thing I’m cringing about is the potential price point. Daystate has always been Damn Proud of it’s guns. I can’t imagine this coming in at less than $2.5K+
The magazine system is new design, but same at the same time. I played with it at EBR. Much easier to load, still spring loaded. I hope that it addresses some of the reported issues of the past model.
Apparently many seem to think that FX invented the bullpup design. Lol This guns gone beyond what I thought was even possible with an Airgun at the current time. The cost of development must have been astronomical. The magazines are pretty hip and can see many companies mimicking after it's release.
Perhaps it will leapfrog the Impact?
Electronics is the future. People held onto their points and plugs before electronic ignition. The held onto vinyl albums before CDs. It takes time but eventually technological progress wins - every time.
It is as inevitable as time...
Semi-auto? Could be?... But I hope it’s Daystate’s answer to the versatility of the Impact and several other Manufacturers? Maybe a stock better suited for Benchrest? I can only hope “Can’t buy a new gun but maybe a stock to retrofit my Redwolf” they are giving everyone a “hint” with those mags. Load underneath and from the side?

I hope that semi-auto doesn't become the new norm. I think it has too much potential to bring unwanted attention—and then unwanted legislation—to our airguns. I'm perfectly happy with levers and bolts for now. Just too much gun-control angst in DC lately to have our airguns shooting rapid fire slugs, IMHO. I say let's try to stay well below the radar. I'd hate to see our progress turn into our downfall.
