Daystate guns are tanks?

As an upper tier Air Gun manufacturer, there machining tolerances are tight & as such an aging o-ring still can seal well.
But as to "Tank" status the older Steel Tube guns due to weight of the totality of parts MORE so than the more modern ALLOY guns which are a lot lighter weight.
There is not much that stands out to place daystate as the most Tank like  With that distinction IMO going more in the THEOBEN / RAW direction.

My buddy paid $1800 for Wolverine in .25 years ago. It had an absolutely beautiful stock on it. The gun itself was a POS. He tried everything to get that gun to shoot to no avail. He happens to a very skilled gun smith and is also good with air guns. He ended up basically giving the gun away.

I have an Air Ranger and it is a fairly good gun, excellent trigger and the Harper valve works great. As far as being built like a tank, they don’t even come close to a Taipan or AGT.

Over on the Brits forums the consensus is pretty much the exact opposite, most people say they wont touch a Daystate due to crappy customer service and Daystates constantly being in the shop.. They recommend BSA or Air Arms guns.. there are those that like Daystate but most opinions seem to be totally opposite of here in the States.
I have as of yet to own one but have been thinking about buying one, where do you get them serviced here in the U.S.?
AOA for service!

My Daystate Redwolf had to be sent to AOA- they are the warranty repair station for Daystate (not the original seller) for a reseal, immediately after it was received. I purchased it new. I put it in a corner and have not touched it since. It just sits there collecting dust. It is still holding air, since the repair.

I was just put off that a dealer would sell me a leaking rifle, AND that I had to pay to send it to AOA for a repair... I have had it for quite a few years now... I may have shot 10 pellets through it before I knew it was leaking. I guess I am still mad about the whole thing. I really should just sell it.
if you haven't sold it you should be using it. If you bought it new Daystates come with a 5 year warranty and if you bought it from AOA and it's within the first year AOA would send you a shipping label.
