The price is high but I am a firm believer you get what you pay for top quality pcp rifle superb craftsmanship

Daystate Huntsman Revere - high prices

When I was at Utah Airguns last Wednesday I looked at the Caimens, Vulcans and for the giggles handled a Daystate Huntsman Revere, and I was impressed. The balance of the gun felt great. It started to get me thinking, maybe go traditional for next rifle in 22 cal, but far from deciding what for next.

There just are not many air rifles that have the feel of a traditional sporter. Seems like big bottles, big stocks and heavy rifles are the norm. I own some of them, like them a lot, but I'm not going to lug a 12 pound rifle through the woods. I believe that folks who complain about the limited shot count of a cylinder rifle are missing the point with the Revere, it's made to carry and shoot. My typical shot taken in the woods, is using the side of a small tree for support, and that just doesn't feel right with a bottle. Maybe I'm not typical, but I can't remember when I needed more than 15 or 20 shots on a squirrel hunt, and more often it's single digits. The Regal/Revere rifles aren't flashy or revolutionary in design, just darn good at their job.Â

 I did the same thing and got tired of thinking about it and went ahead and bought one. And after looking on the Internet I noticed Baker air guns hadn’t raised their price yet. But unfortunately they did now. The gun was tested at the factory and also Donnie at Baker airgun tested it again .He gave me a fill probe adapter for the foster fitting for free. It came triple boxed. I was really impressed with the gun especially after shooting it. It seems like the gun was made for me the way it fits and handles.Very accurate. If you guys like yours as much as I do, you will be happy campers.Â

@ripper @elh0102 To your points, I could agree more. Handle a buddy's for the day. Felt magical haha. Refined, balanced and relatively light... for a pcp or springer in this traditional-styled of a rifle. Adequate power for its overall length/caliber out of the box... which is to say 'excellent' in my books.
(IMO and preference, if more muzzle energy is needed from comparable overall length of a rifle, its bullpups all day; not a fan of broomsticks. So @blackpaw yes every collection's got to have a bullpup or two or three

I also had considered the AirArms 510 or so series rifle; offered stocks looks awesome. But the balance, lightness, and feel of this Revere felt really right. (Felt the same about the Leyla 2.0 btw.. hehe.) Anyway def looking forward to her.
