Daystate Price Increase

As I recall reading in one of AoA's posts. The US dollar lost 10% to the British Pound - so that's one thing right there. The other was shipping. Without people flying there aren't those planes to take air freight, so the overall cost of international shipping has gone up.

I've seen this right here in the US - used to be USPS Priority shipping for a rifle would run in the $50-60 range. Recently it's up to about $75. UPS is offering better deals than that.

I was going to use my stimulus to buy a revere, but not now! I wonder if scope prices will increase also?

The answer to that, in my opinion, is that most everything is going to be increasing in price (and decreasing in availability) over at least the next year (and probably longer).

Not buying something you know you want right now, instead waiting for prices to come back down - I don't think that will work out well for anyone.

I'm not seeing the used market increase quite like the new market, yet. But assume that is coming as well.

Well, hey - everyone loves a good price gouging, right?

An increase in Daystate prices eventually could afect sales and return of distributors.

Capitalism, socialism and communism have their own engines that move the human conduct and that have influence on economy:

In the case of capitalism the engine is the "avarice".

In the case of socialism and communism the engine is "envy".

Theoretically, avarice limits it self by market conditions.

The problem is that envy has not limits.

We can all thank the Obiden administration for the dollar losing value to other currencies, and pretty much every other anti USA policy that happens will end up the same way, which is the USA being absorbed step by step into the abyss of poverty by none other than the One World Socialists Agendas promoted by the mass media and the democratic party.

Oh joy, can't wait till gas is $5 a gallon.....

These are your opinions and not shared by all - not only that they are inaccurate - but then, hey that's my opinion, right?

Can't you guys keep this off the website - it only hurts the threads because they get shut down. Keep your politics to yourself.

They raised prices on guns that were already in stock at AOA. I looked at a Red Wolf and went to order it the next day and saw the increase. NO SALE.

I like it when they raise prices on the one's they already had in stock before the price increase.

It always surprises me when folks speak as though they believe inventory carrying costs are free.

Sometimes a business will lose money on inventory which moves more slowly than planned. Sometimes they can increase their profit margins a bit through a price increase, which impacts current and future inventory. It all has to balance out, or we end up losing that retailer as they go out of business.

I was speaking to a big airgun company located The Grand Canyon State, and they happened to mention that their buyer or inventory manager used to get all sorts of poope for carrying too much inventory. Then the airgun purchasing boom really hit in 2020, and now that manager is a Golden Boy (or Girl).

Ain't that the truth

Revisiting this topic, just went to AoA website and the Redwolf Hp in laminate is $2899.00 on sale from $2999.00?, Safari $3199.00?, it seems price is going up with no actual upgrade or performance.

Fx impact Mk 3 at least is a new model with many improvement's for only $200 more!, the Delta Wolf is $3300.00 the direct competition of the Impact and is $1000.00 More! " WORTH IT..."?

Is my thought process out of line or am I missing something?
