Tuning Daystate programming

I have never utilized the Daystate Programmer to tune any of my Red Wolfs, but my understanding of the unit is that it provides you with almost infinite tuning opportunities, especially tuning a RW down in power as you would going from a 303 to a 177.

Further, from what I have read on this forum, changing RW calibers is a pretty simple and straightforward process.

Sorry that from me all of this is hearsay, and hopefully others with any real experience will chime in, but I think you will ultimately find the answer to your question will be 'yes'.

As @TMH says .... yes.

Hopefully you are thinking about 16.1s or slugs going pretty fast. The 30 has the largest valve porting, as was discussed in other threads and may not be as consistent at lower powers. Note that on my Safari, it's ALL it can do on high power to send the new NSA 20.2s at 900 in 177.(a lot of bearing surface) They were wicked good in preliminary tests. That's with the 96 V Heliboard , as well. What I'm saying here is a 177 poly barrel on HI on your RW would be appropriate for them. The 16.1s may not need much tuning on LOW to get them where you want to go .

Heliboard is convenient for tuning, for sure . "A must", it's not. The GCU2 board is incredible ... just not convenient to change. It's possible no changes will be required, other than barrel and probe.

I have every caliber for my RW and Safari, so having 12 power settings and convenient tuning changes is handy, not necessary.

Agree. I "only" have a Pulsar HP. I wouldn't mind having a Heliboard at all. They seem to be well made and reliable, according to what I've read. But "a must" to have? Just one opinion based on what I'm not sure.
