Yes Sharrof exactly like you said.
Same jsb 18g pellets , they shoot better with the royale.
The daystate pellets are unavailable at the dealer at the moment so i cannot test those.

Any chance you have a chrony to see what the speeds are from the two guns?

It would also be interesting to know what the difference in barrel twist is between the Daystate and FX as speed and twist rate are the two things that come to mind as thats that could account for that.

Well the fx royale shoots at 920fps while the pulsar at high power shoots at 870fps .
Of course same pellers jsb 18gr.(.22 caliber)
Royale barrel lenght is 19.5" while pulsar barrel is 17" and that in my opinion played a vital role in the wind.

Are you saying the extra 2.5" of barrel made the difference or the higher velocity made the difference?

definitely the extra length.
the royale has adjustable power , on low or high settings it still shoots incredibly accurate.

My Pulsar is shooting at around 960 fps on high power with the 18 gr JSBs.

And the barrels are completely different on FX guns and everything else like the Daystate guns. watch Teds Holdover Youtube channel to get a really great in depth explanation of the differences.

On H power I get 960-970 with 16 grainers, but better accuracy at 920fps on M power.
