Love my Pulsars: .22 standard (black lam) and .177 HP (Saxon). Yes, as you say the triggers are fantastic (for those who, like me, like electronic triggers).

Yes the Pulsars are pretty heavy. I shoot mine off the bench.

I also found my first Pulsar (the longer, HP one) to be much more hold sensitive than a 'comparable' electronic rifle that I had been shooting (Red Wolf). That may just be partly inherent in bullpup vs traditional rifle, or HP vs standard. But when I found out what the Pulsar HP liked it became a true laser beam. It was also much louder than my RW.

Flash forward to a couple of weeks ago when I got my used .22 standard power Pulsar from AOA. As compared to its little HP cousin, it seems much less hold sensitive (or maybe I just had more Pulsar shooting experience?), and it was backyard quiet (shroud only) like the RW. And also very accurate and consistent.

I have found the Pulsars to be really incredible guns, and sure hope that you enjoy your new one.

I've had a Renegade for a while now. I should have a Pulsar Saxon show up this Wednesday, both in .22.

I shortened the shroud on the Renegade so it's about .06" longer than the air tank. Looks a lot better and not any louder. I did have to shorten the baffles a little, but all are back in place.

While the Pulsar and Renegade's are a little heavier than most, it's all back at your shoulder, so once you have it ready to shoot at your shoulder, the weight should not be a problem. I like the Renegade, so I'm hoping that the Pulsar is as good or better.

I have a scope ready and waiting. I've got a red dot sight on the Renegade.

Nothing beats these Daystate triggers, though some do come very close, even though they are mechanical. I just got a Weihrauch Bullpup Carbine. Its trigger is also very smooth, and crisp, with no perceptible looseness or play.

I have a .22 Saxon standard and a .22 HP in gray laminate. I bought them both in the last 6 months from AOA. The triggers are the best out there and the accuracy is way above average. The standard is very quiet without a moderator, the HP is quite a bit louder especially on high power. I really like mine although I admit that I like my .22 Veteran long better.

I'm drawn to the Pulsar but also wonder how much better the Alpha Wolf might be. Plus, the Pulsar is impossible to find.
Better...in what way ?
Accuracy ?
Shot count ?
What ?

I currently own two Pulsars and a Renegade.
I'm going to "assume"... that the Alpha Wolf may be lighter in weight than the Pulsar/Renegade, but I doubt it's hugely better in any one respect than the Pulsar.

EDdventure - I had a Pulsar HP 177 that I traded in on a Delta Wolf 23" barrel 177. The reason I went for the Delta Wolf was the on board chorny, self adjusting Program function, built in tuning capability and it was a shiny new toy. In retrospect I think I should have just bought a programming box for the Pulsar. Don't get me wrong - I love the DW and am still learning the rifle but it isn't more accurate than the Pulsar in my hands. If you can find a used Pulsar in your preferred caliber I would recommend the Pulsar based on cost alone. If you search old posts on the Pulsar I think you will find a lot of folks have had very good experiences with the Pulsar. The following is a link to my initial post on my then new Pulsar: https://www.airgunnation.com/threads/daystate-pulsar-hp-177.806339/
