Hey everyone, Steve's been busy learning the Daystate Red Wolf in .177 caliber. I pulled the pictures below from his Instagram page, that's where you'll find day-by-day updates. So far he's documented some really interesting results. Like 162 shots at 30 FPE with an ES of 25 from a single fill!!

In the very near future you can expect a vlog (candid discovery & tuning video), a full video review, and last but not least an RDW. That's right folks, hold on to your hats and keep an eye on Airgun Nation and AEAC because we'll be giving all of it away real soon!!!

Only a couple inches of shroud suppression after the barrel. Inserting a straw makes pull-though cleaning easy.

I’m really looking forward to Steve’s review and tuning vlog on this rife! About a month ago I decided my next airgun would be a Daystate Pulsar HP (I’m a bullpup/carbine guy). After reading Centercut’s review of his “Blue Wolf” and Franklink’s review of a standard Red Wolf I decided I needed one (Pulsar HP version). It seemed like I was on the AoA web site on a daily basis, then searching old reviews and AGN posts for more information. When I finally was ready to pull the trigger, AoA only had the .177 version of the Pulsar Saxon HP. It took me an additional day of researching before I made the decision to go for it. I placed my order one day before this thread on Steve’s review of the Red Wolf HP .177 was posted. Talk about serendipity! I will receive my Pulsar sometime this coming week and can’t wait to shot it. Especially after following Steve’s progress on Instagram.

I just grabbed this "Low Power" shot string from AEAC's FB page

Steve seems pretty impressed so far:

... I feel as if I've stumbled across something EXTRAORDINARY that the airgun community isn't privy to, or maybe it's just that I've had my head in the sand all these years???

You guys tell me - PLEASE

I've been learning about an ALL ELECTRONIC WATERPROOF PRODUCTION HIGH POWER .177 that launches the .177 JSB 16.20gr Beasts (heavier than a-lotta .22 lead and with a better BC) to 30 fpe by 162 shots per fill, with an ES of 25 fps

What's more, this rifle can store 3 different ON-BOARD tunes/power settings (high-medium-low) which can be user selected in about 5 seconds... AND coincidentally have been perfectly factory tuned to perform with the .177 JSB 16.20gr, 13.43gr, and 10.3gr (hi-power, medium-power, low-power)

HP 16.20gr - 162 shots at 30 fpe w/25 ES

MP 13.43gr - 278 shots at 23 fpe w/27 ES

LP 10.3gr - 419 shots at 19 fpe w/43 ES

... it's also FULLY TUNABLE with an accessory programmer module.

Of all the guns I've owned, reviewed, or shot, that Red Wolf Standard with the GCU2.0 is up there at the top.

I had the same reaction Sciali is, for a good solid 6 weeks (the WHOLE time I had that gun). I felt like a 16 year old kid with a Bugatti.

Fun to see someone like Steve who has handled just about every airgun out there, appear to be as impressed by the Red Wolf as I was.

NEXT LEVEL airgunning experience those Red Wolves (Wolfs? sp?).

STUPENDOUS (in all regards: quality, performance, consistency, handling, accuracy, trigger, shot count, etc).

A 30FPE .177 is a very underrated option, in the USA where power is king it gets overlooked and in the UK where you are very restricted on ownership of airguns over 12FPE most will chose a high power .22 if they can have only one gun.

Conversely in Countries like Denmark where you can only have .177 but the power is unrestricted they are a great option, Soren on the forum can attest to that.

I have been shooting my .177 RW HP for maybe 12-18 months, I like it so much I even bought the mechanical version, the WOLVERINE HP .177 30FPE, only downside to the mechanical gun is that there is just the one power level and that is the JSB Beast power level, it's too fast for the lighter pellets unless you re-tune, the Redwolf however can handle all three pellet weights.

It's also the only gun I have tried that shot slugs without any work or tuning, the NSA's straight out of the box, now the NSA high speed lower cost slug version is availible you could actually just feed it a diet of slugs and nothing else without breaking the bank.

Interestingly I have never tried the H&N piledrivers in mine so might give them a go if I can find a tin so thanks for that idea Steve!

I must agree with Steve on this one 😃

I have owned the Red Wolf .177 HP a little over a year now and it still is a joy to shoot. It is so versatile and shoots all sorts of pellets and slugs very well 👍

Being restricted to .177 without a hunting license here in Denmark, the Red Wolf really keeps up with most standard .22 airguns here.

I can turn the gun down in power and shoot almost a tin of pellets on one fill or crank up the power and get 38 FPE !!! 💪

At the moment I am testing and shooting my new 16 gr hollow point slugs at 1025 FPS and 37.34 FPE ! Plenty of power and energy for long range target shooting - Sub MOA groups at 110 yards ! 😃

Really looking forward to the VLOG and review from AEAC !
