Daystate Red Wolf HP

Huggett MAGNA MINI and Belita pictured. Huggetts Silent MAGNA (THE WHOPPER) not pictured but it's similar to the DonnyFL Emperor in size about 50% bigger (LONGER) than the Magna mini pictured. Yo!

I would like to have member suggestions on which would be the best moderator to use on the Red Wolf HP in .22 caliber. There are so many choices now. Thanks

To be fair there is not much of a difference in any of them, however if you want complimentary look to that beautiful airgun you have then the 0DB (ZERO DB) moderator is by far the best as it's made in the same factory!

The Daystate Brand Airstream isn't the quietest for a Redwolf or any other gun for that matter. Get a Huggett MAGNA the HUGE one if you need it silent and not make your RW not too front heavy compared to compatible sized LDCs. Or at least a Huggett MAGNA MINI like these. Yo!

YO Yo, I was referring to the Daystate Zero DB LDC. I should have made that clearer.

I did take the Zero DB off the Red Wolf standard and swapped it with the Huggett from my Wolverine and found the Zero DB to be slightly quieter of the two, but the $50 or so price difference, with the Zero DB being the most expensive, may not be worth the minor difference between them.

What Red Wolf do you have where that you found the Huggett to be the best LDC?

i heard that a huggett magna would quiet my red wolf high power is that true?

Huggets are good stuff. Well engineered and built. But so are many others.

I haven't found the RW HP in .22 to be all that loud, especially compared to some other guns and larger calibers. RW's don't generally waste too much air on firing, and that helps keep the noise level down.

If you have your heart set on a Magna, I have found Penchetta Pen & Knife to have the best prices (and great service too). Here is your Magna:

If you can, though, I might try a smaller (shorter) mod on your RW and see if it does the job well enough. The RW HP is a long gun already. Of course if you are only shooting off the bench then length won't be too much of an issue.
