Hope this type of question is ok ? Just trying to get a feel for what a daystate huntsman regal NON regulated NON XL version would be worth in like new condition ?? Would 700 be reasonable ? Thanks guys.

Yes, I think $600-$700 is very fair. It’s a great rifle and a new Revere regulated with side lever is $1450-1500 approximately.
Put an ad in the Classifieds. It should sell quickly.

Edit: I forgot I purchased the ‘we the plinker” package from AoA. That was around $1500 but also included an Athlon scope and ODB moderator. The standalone price Thomas mentioned is a good price for a new unregulated Revere.
Candidly, many of our AGN colleagues have been happy with the slingshot hammer system in the unregulated guns. I had an unregulated .22 Regal XL bolt action lefty stock, and was very pleased with it’s consistent accuracy.

I would say 600 would sell, 700 may sit a while. Non regulated guns are tougher to sell. In my mind, it would sell to someone that will put a regulator in it.

Do you have a picture? Is it .177 or .22?
The Regal XL has a 162cc air tube. The non-XL have a 132cc air tube.
I thought the non-XLs with the smaller air tube were lower powered 12ft/lb guns for the European market? Do you know what speed it shoots at?

Yeah $600-$700 would be a steal if it was in very good condition. That's like friend prices. The Huntsman series really hold their resale value IMO.
There is a used .22 Daystate Revere regulated for $949 in vg condition at AoA. Includes SST and one magazine. I know you said non regulated and non XL, but considering new sells for $1450……..hmmm

Agree. I’ve got an unregulated Regal XL .22 and it’s extremely accurate 45 flat shots at 40 yards at 870-880 fps with JSB 15.89.
Its also extremely easy to install a Huma reg in these rifles. One advantage (to me anyway) to buying an unregulated Huntsman is that you get the foster fitting- rather than a fill probe and gauge - at the front of the gun. It looks better, is more convenient, and if you add your own reg its far about $300 cheaper and you can retain the foster and just use your compressor gauge to fill to desired pressure.

I have a non-regulated Revere and it shoots very well throughout its 70 shots per fill. Daystate's hammer design seems to make the gun shoot consistently. I have no intention of installing a regulator in mine. AOA is selling new non-regulated rifles for $1099. $700 is a fair price if the gun is clean.

I have traded up on 2 used guns to AoA and negotiated lower offers twice. A Taipan Long .25 and Daystate Regal XL .22. But, I agree on trying to get them to move lower on a used Revere will be challenging.
If I was the OP, I would buy the used Revere for $950 from AoA as offered.
