Both huma, of course. I'm considering fathers day present (for me)! Who knows what about each? Tell me what i should know or maybe a different choice. 25cal, 6.5 lb, quiet.accurate. I've got to stop now or you'll think Im picky,
Not sure about the Regal trigger, but my Air Ranger trigger can be adjusted WAY lighter then I could get the Brocock. Brocock trigger is nice, just not quite light enough for me.
I've heard the short barrel affects the Regal in .25 cal as well. I don't have personal experience, but apparently it doesn't get much more power than the .22 cal version and is less efficient (far fewer shots).
i too have been looking at both these rifles. not enough info on the .25 brocock yet to make an educated decision. ultimately, i'd like a .25 bantam hr and a .177 regal hr., but $$$$ is always a concern. i can say my brocock contour is a sweet shooting carbine, but only puts out 15fpe and 18 shots before needing a fill.
what ever you decide, keeps us in the loop and good luck with your choice!
I'd already be happy personally with what you already own but that's just me and my budget talking. I do know that I love my Crown! My only wishes would be shorter length and stronger barrel/shroud stemming from the fact that I've always been accustomed to picking up my rifles by the barrel. I still love everything else about it and gladly except those trade offs though. I hope you find exactly what you're looking for with there being sooo many great choices out there now! Best of luck to ya, Bill
Yes, i have arguably 2 of the finest air rifles in the world the Wildcat shoot pellet in pellet at 25 and 50 yards and after 50 yards I take the impact and it's bullseye on bullseye on Bullseye out to 150 yards easy. I'm not going to do anything hasty . I may even opt for a RAW. did I say I wasn't going to do anything hasty?
Now that sounds like what would really fill the only niche you haven't already got covered. A very high powered heavy pellet or slug slinger extraordinaire indeed. Add the smooth twist X style rifling with a twist rate designed to stabilize either or is probably what might find that empty spot you're missing? jmho, Bill
When I buy an Airgun I try to have a reason for doing so. Specially if I already own another in the same caliber. So I would start by asking why do you want another .25, and for what purpose? What role will this new gun fill that the Impact can’t do? Even if that reason is “have a backup” or “I want a “Safe Queen”
