Daystate Daystate Revere - .177 Caliber

Guys,
I watched a few videos on the disassembly of the new version of the Revere.
The gun is still made very similar to the old BAM B50/B51 with the exception of Hammer, Valve and Safety.
Also, I looked at a few posts by GTA - Steve (Nitrocrushr) who mentioned the gun was fantastic out of the box. I remembered his posts from years ago as he is very detailed in his analysis and has excellent mechanical skills.

Anyway, it sounds like I shouldn't need to do much to the gun except a good barrel cleaning, a heck of the crown and maybe install a regulator?

Then you probably don't want a Daystate. The FX adjustamatics are marketed to fit this need. The Daystate rifles are good, solid designs, and I much prefer them, but many others like the versatility of turning dials and screws. Each to his own, it's all out there.
Daystate are boring guns for the ADHD guys. They work and are accurate out-of-the-box. Here FX works so much better as a therapeutic toy.

I‘m done with therapy ….. so the Revere will be a pleasure.

- Definitely a gun for those who have scant, mechanical ability ;) .

How would a regulator be installed? I just received a non regulated one.

Look up Huma regulator for Daystate Revere or Regal.
There is a very good video explaining the whole process.

Remember, installing a regulator voids the OEM warranty.

In my case, if I install a regulator, I have no problem being the warranty service.

Allow me to add this since it has yet to be acknowledged as far a I can tell.
Simply opening the tube, adding a regulator, and closing up again. and you end up with the gun's gauge indicating the regulated pressure.
If you also want to be able to read fill pressure, adding a quick fill kit with gauge will be needed.
Not recommending one approach over the other.
Just pointing it out

Adding a reg to an unregged gun gives you the foster fitting over the fill probe which many approve of. The gauge will show reg pressure and you just shoot till the reg pressure starts to drop. Use the gauge on your pump or compressor to find your fill pressure. Not too terrible of a set up. The guns get pretty much the same amount of shots whether regged or not. Unregged you just fill to a little over 200 bar and shoot down to about 140 bar. Regged you fill to 250 bar and shoot down to reg pressure.
