Daystate Revere .177 H&N slugs

Did a little testing here today with H&N slugs plus some Snowpeak pellets.

The Snowpeaks from China is no good. At least not in my gun.

Sights were set for 40m with ZAN 16grain slugs. The H&N and Snowpeaks prints in relation to this.

The H&N is a bit tighter apparently. Thats why the 16grain prints lower than the 16grain ZANs.

Nope...but I am fixin` to. Its a 18 ft/ibs version. So with 16-20grain ZAN slugs and 17grain EunJin pellets its in the 700 ft/sec stuff I guess.
A chronograph is needed.

I was testing the 10 and 13 gr JSB knockouts in mine before adding the reg and they were considerably slower than the pellets. I think I am going to bump the reg up a smidge, currently 130 bar, but going to try 135. The slugs felt tight and I wonder if a slightly smaller diameter may work better. I only tested then in the basement at 10 yards bit they were chronographed.

Please let us know the Chronograph results when you obtain them with your Slug test. I too have a Huntsman Revere in .177 and would like to see if they can remain under the 20 FPE necessary for HFT.
