Daystate Revere .25

I have not, but....

AoA in the spec of this rifle says it can shoot 30 pellets at 38 foot pounds.

38 foot pounds in 25.4 grain are 820 fps. Taking into consideration that it is a Daystate, you can be sure that if you do your part, no dove should be missed without wind at 100 yards.

Without wind, that rifle could be making groups of 1.5 inches at that distance.

The power is more that enough for jack rabbit size hunting.

The Revere has the new magazine that receives the jsb 34 grain, but the expected fps would be 720. At that velocity the parabole is very difficult to handle for hunting pourposes.

So... You decide if that is what you expect from your rifle....

For a very small additional amount, you can get a Vulcan 2 in 25 Cal that will be able to shoot with more power and more shots per fill... Uragan would be much better and the accuracy of both would be the same that the Revere or better. But they are for shooting not for being admired.

Your choice....

I would really like to know if pellets destabilize at greater distances 75 to 90 yds. I’m glad to hear about the 50 yd accuracy, ( Sasquatch). My main shooting point is 74 yds to the top of an oak tree in the back yard, being picky I know but I dearly love the huntsman platform ( sporter style) and would like to stay with it in a .25 if it will fit the bill.

Thanks for any insight you have.
