Is the dragonclaw2 tactical a top competitor in the air bow game ??how about for the price .what's your take on this ?
I'm a big fan of the air saber actually, and have a single arrow gen 1 figured folks would think 425 450 was too slow .how wrong I was thanx guysYou need to consider the cost and shape of the air bolt tip. I've seen Keith Warren use it but I'd use a Benjamin Airbow or a Umarex air saber if the Airbow is too expensive. If you really want to try and kill two birds at once the .50 cal with air bolts might be a solution but there are much better ones out there. I just don't like the air bolts for the dragon claw 2 and I'm not sure about using broadheads with them for deer hunting. They seem heavy and expensive.
The air bolts were created as an after thought because the Dragon Claw lost market share in my opinion. Some reviewers swear by it but then again most are not real world reviews and have been compensated in some way. Like I said Keith Warren used one for big game. I'm sure he was paid well for the video on YT.
As far as the price it's ridiculous for what you're getting. You can pick up an air saber for $380. As I see it that's an extra $500 for a AEA .50 Challenger that costs $600. So for an extra hundred bucks you get two guns that do what they were made to do rather than one gun that does two things but neither one all that well.
