even shooters made the trek to Dutchess County, NY for my July match. From Long Island, CT, NJ and right here in the beautiful Hudson Valley!
We couldn't have asked for better weather! Mid 70's with very low humidity and 5/10 MPH wind. Considering the day before when Nathan Thomas and myself were setting up the course, it was 90 with 90% humidity and let's just say Nathan and I were drenched!
The match itself was on the long side with most targets out past 40 yards. A few reducers in close and of course DCPA's famous "elevator" which has two targets close in but at over 40 degrees up the tree! Tricky!
The wind had me holding outside the KZ for every shot past 35 yards(I shoot WFTF) Some very impressive scores were posted!
Afterwards we all had lunch and it was a great pleasure breaking bread with wonderful people!
