De-gassing a co2 crosman

I have a Crosman 2300T. How do I de-gas it If I want to remove the cartridge. before it is empty ?.

I would just shoot till it's empty.

Just crack the seal very slowly. When you feel the cap get cold or hear any gas escape stop right there. Give it a couple minutes before continuing slowly.
