Thanks for the reply. Sorry to hear that. Any idea what has caused the glut of customers and lack of product and vendors?
It would seem ripe for someone to open a new business given that they, with decent customer service could do very well. I know at times the gun and ammo business goes through draught times but that is usually politically driven. I had not thought that the airgun industry would have that many customers.
This week, I did purchase a new Benjamin 392 from Baker airguns and it was shipped the next day and is on it's way. Maybe I am lucky as I just happened on them when I was trying to find out who could repair my mid 50's Blue Streak about a year ago. Recently, I decided to do a web search and found that they also sell airguns. Given he was responsive on my initial request for repair I e-mailed him and he immediately responded back. Two days later and maybe 5 e-mails I ordered the 392. Perhaps, I was lucky or perhaps he is not doing much business but Dennis was very responsive to me. I had hoped to find several suppliers as he was out of one of the pellets I wanted but soon found out that wherever I looked they were also out. Again, it would seem ripe for new vendors.
