Dealing with stuck pellet tin lids

How do yod deal with this issue. I just had to use my vice to open a JSB .25 tin (had magazines in it)?

Use one that is the same depth as the tin...

I suppose you could close a string in between the lid and bottom, then pull the string to pop the lid off …

I've never really had a problem with them but maybe make them like an old Kiwi shoe polish tin. Squeeze one side and the other pops up.

Or the newer kind with a little thingy

Or grow some plumber's finger nails?
