Definitely, a 9oz CO2 tank can produce an absurdly high shot count at a modest power level.

However even with air, the goal of 200 can be achieved at a 12fpe level using a standard 13ci paintball tank. The efficiency necessary to reach this goal is only about 1.3fpe/ci which is pretty well middle of the road for a basic regulated setup with 70% porting and the hammer spring tension adjusted for the velocity knee (95-97% of max velocity). No tuning wizardry necessary. At most, maybe something to prevent air-wasting hammer bounce, if that symptom even rears its head.

I wonder what the regulated pressure of the bottle is . It could be 800 psi that paintball markers use. I have read that a 1100 psi 13cu is the one to get.

If it's the lower pressure bottle you might be better off ordering , the rifle and bottle, off Amazon with the higher pressure .

Qb78 deluxe .177 not sure what adapter is needed on this model. https://www.amazon.com/Beeman-QB78D-177-Sportsman-Model-Rifle/dp/B01G48WVBW/ref=sr_1_5?crid=38YF48TS79SFF&keywords=qb78+air+rifle+.177&qid=1679008171&s=sporting-goods&sprefix=qb78+air+rifle+.177,sporting,250&sr=1-5
I want to get it from said supplier bc of his reputation amongst the forum members 🎩🤙

That's probably a smart move . When I get my next pcp pistol I will go through him. Their prices are good and many of their pistols have a regulator. Must have good CS to be getting so many recommendations.
That's what I'm saying🤷‍♂️ I've seen so many posts about slingers/gear/etc. from there with GREAT reviews. Just seems logical to me. Support a smaller company. Already gave money to some of these big companies. Time to spread the love where it is earned/deserved🎩🤙

The AR2079 stock has always appealed to me, so that's the way I'd go, personally. But the QB stock seems more sporty and rim-fire-y. Perfect for a field gun.
I am not too familiar with these guns, but I have been curious. I'm just not a big fan of Co2 in my airguns and I have not been infected with the need to convert one to HPA (yet).

hand pumping a bottle is a lot of pumping and a long time letting the pump cool down , you said more shots per fill ? i think thats the wrong idea with a hand pump .

using a hand pump is more like shooting 20 or 30 shots and top off your bottle pumping , let pump cool down , pumping , cooling , pumping , cooling , which is why i said a tube gun . look on You tube on how to pump your PCP gun

True, that’s how it goes for marathon shooting sessions. However in this case he’s planning to set up a bottle gun for something in the neighborhood of 200 shots per fill. So long as that’s enough to make it through the day, there need be no interruptions for pumping. Instead just do the pumping at night when indoors anyway and it’s ready for another 200 the next day.
