I'm running a 15 ci 4500 psi tank now. With an 800 psi regulator it's shooting around 7 fpe. I have no idea what the shot count is now but I'm betting it's close to a tin of pellets.

I did look into that one.just not quite what I'm looking for; already have the snowpeak pp800r.If you could afford it, take a close look at the Umarex Notos.....very hand pump friendly, regulated, accurate, adjustable stock, magazine fed.....I know you are looking for a .177 but this would make an excellent first PCP in my humble opinion.....

I have a QB79 bottle gun too. I like it but it's a chunk of wood and steel compared to my Bandit and Chaser bottle builds.I almoooost copied your bottle gun
Decided on this route for now. Will most likely end up making my snowpeak into a bottle thumper like yours
Ever got ahold of the other option?*the ARI have a QB79 bottle gun too. I like it but it's a chunk of wood and steel compared to my Bandit and Chaser bottle builds.
Sure does. It's the one with the 15 ci tank and 800 psi regulator. Hundreds of shots per fill. I don't have to patience to actually count how many but it was close to 200 with the 13 ci tank and 1100 psi regulator.Guessing .177 gets most spf?
That sounds pretty much exactly like the goal I am trying to attain figuring 177 gets the most spfSure does. It's the one with the 15 ci tank and 800 psi regulator. Hundreds of shots per fill. I'm after shots per fill in .177figure it will be my paper puncherAt a given fps, the smaller caliber will yield more shots per fill.
At a given fpe, the larger caliber will yield more shots per fill.
Yea?! that's what I'm chasingHypothetical scenario...
A 600fps tune for paper punching with 8.2gr wadcutters will net you about 300 shots on a 13ci paintball tank. Assumes the typical 850psi regulator setpoint and efficiency of 1.3fpe/ci.
Can you tell a lazy man how many shots I should get with a 15 ci 4500 psi tank running an 800 psi regulator and pushing a 7.5 at 700 fps?Oops, just realized I had a stale number in my spreadsheet...the shot count would be more like 380.
That works out to about 580 shots assuming the same 1.3fpe/ci efficiency. Can you tell a lazy man how many shots I should get with a 15 ci 4500 psi tank running an 800 psi regulator and pushing a 7.5 at 700 fps?
