Another debit card denial on my purchase of airgun related books. This has happened twice now on books from the UK to me. Had a Krale purchase nixed by my card. Tried to get HP gauge and fittings to deal with my HW90. That was denied a second time after I thought the bank straightened it out. All of these denied purchases were airgun related in some way. Just had to blow off steam. I don't play well with others and know it. So I make a supreme effort to be polite. I also pray a lot. It helps me greatly. YMMV. BE Well Brothers, Bandito.

Reads as though all were out-of-country purchases. If true, check the anti-fraud/security preferences for your card. Out-of-country purchases may be blocked, this can usually be changed.

My CC company will send me a text to see if I made the purchase. I respond with a YES and the sale will go through.
Call your CC company. They will probably straighten you out. They want you to spend money.

Same goes even taking holidays/traveling in your own country.......Always a good thing to notify the bank that your planning a vacation and the cards will be used a lot.

Mine too.
I hit the "buy" button, I get denied. (USA to...wherever)
Go to my e-mail, there's an e-mail with..."that's me"...and..."that's not me".
I hit the, "that's me" button, go back and hit the "buy" button again, all is good. Takes about two or three minutes to complete.

I'm not happy. On one occasion I went to the bank. While I was there they straightened it out for me. I went home happy and made the order, same thing. I guess they don't want my business. Be Well Brothers, dito.

It very well could be the CC company. Many of them do not like out of country purchases. I use my American Express card for foreign purchases. Not only do I never have a problem but I dont get charged extra for the foreign transaction.

Bandito,I hear you. What a bunch of BS. I have never had a problem; yes, they do ask me if that was me doing the order.I have debt cards; I have two, and I never have a lot of money in one; that is the one I use most of the time...Praying is a good habit.

i use the national digital ID to verify my shopping online.
So in the second i hit order a new window open where i do my ID stuff, and when that is done i am sendt back to the page i am shopping at.
I could also get verification by TXT, but as the avid phone hater i am i prefer to not do that.
It is only online i use my cards ( i have 2 one for online shopping and the other one i use to get cash in ATM machine )
Day 2 Day i am all cash,,,,,, and if the need arrise strictly ballroom dancing.

I personally would never use a debit card for any purchases. I only use a CC. If there's fraud I let the CC company take care of it and I don't have to worry about someone emptying my bank account. Just pay it off by the end of the pay period. A big plus is you also get points that you can use to purchase airgun stuff.

Yeah, this is the reason I don't use any payment methods that are linked to my bank account. It might not be any more prone for fraud, but if it happens, it's my money being drained in real time.
