Decided to just shoot all of them!

The Indiana weather has been unseasonably cold and windy starting last weekend. Trying to figure out a way to practice with purpose, I decided to pull each rifle out of the vault, and with no warm-up or adjustment shots, shoot one 10 shot group with each, on the indoor 18 yard range, and attempt to shoot sub MOA. At 18 yards a sub MOA group only measure .188”

My experience is that the close groups will very much predict the quality of the longer yardage groups.

In the process, as I always do, I did discover a few maintenance details that did need attended to - one of the added values of such exercises.

I thought some of you might enjoy seeing the stats, even though there is always a member or two that severely discount the value of the close yardage work-ups, which is ok with me. To each his own.

I never have figured out why you sold it to me in the first place - one of the most accurate rifles I own! Shoots MOA at 85 yards about every time....
I was clobbering clay birds with that gun consistently at 200m with it. It was a great gun. I wouldn't have sold it if there was a problem! I dont pass my trash on to others. I was desperate for cash to feed my springer addiction though and that was the easiest way to do it. I'm just happy it went to someone who can appreciate it and shoots it as well as you do.
