I am seriously considering a crown as well. Are they really as delicate and sensitive to slight bumps as some say? Causing POI shifts?

Have you seen the barrel bands for the crown to help protect against POI shift? https://www.pyramydair.com/product/black-arts-design-fx-crown-barrel-band. I am brand new to the Crown, having just received mine in the mail so I don't have an objective opinion yet.

No I have not seen them yet. I honestly did not know they were needed.

A vote for the Fx Royals. No muss no fuss and a dream to point and shoot. Power wheel on the side for close up work.Lots of shots on a fill also. One of the best guns they ever built imo.

Wish I still owned mine.

My new rifle showed up friday, the sturgeonmatic! latest and greatest in PCP goodness!

So as some of you saw, my new sturgeonmatic showed up friday and what a delightful treat it was today. As promised I took the rifle out and shot it today after a nice hike with Peri, I shot it at 60 yards and 100 yards The weather today was less than ideal, 26* and with snow on the way before...
