My forum background just changed itself to dark. Was able to figure out how to change it off this horrible setting. In settings it said that is default. I think I won’t be the only one that hates that. Why the change ??

Mine did, too, kind of growing on me. Roll with it awhile, pretty sure it'll switch back, like happened before. WM

I switched it back myself. You can also set it to sense and auto change when ambient lighting is low.

Sorry about that! I changed it back.
Most people find that dark mode is easier on the eyes (and your battery).
To switch the appearance of your device simply scroll to the bottom of any page and toggle the bar
