First, thanks to all the suggestions and explanations.
My problem was this was a MOA shooter up to about a week ago.
I indexed and rotated my liner ending up where I started.
Removed the barrel and aligned the orifice with the block.
I could zero the gun and take a shot or 2 and be good then all of a sudden 1/2 to 3/4 hash marks to the left.
I don't know., I am puzzled and perplexed.
Finally, I removed the cheek rest and place a level across. locked the gun in place.
then I placed a level on top of turret. guess what. not the same. WHAAA? I couldn't believe it.
I leveled scope to rifle. back to MOA @ 100 with 25 and 34. .
I looked through scope and reticles many100's times, and I guess I had become accustomed to the errant alignment.
Any way, it was CANT . Not rifle but scope. Something I should have spotted right away. Why all of a sudden?
We all do it! DO NOT PICK UP YOUR RIFLE BY THE SCOPE!!!!!
As simple as it is I hope this helps the next shooter.
Dang it Lucy, why didn't you see this????
