Degassing a Brocock Sniper XR

Does anyone have a really good method for degassing a Brocock Sniper XR (or any of the Brocock line I guess). It looks like the only way is to remove the stock and then slowly unscrew the pressure gage of the bottle. Then I guess you would have to dry fire to get rid of the pressure between the valve and the regulator. Thanks.

Not familiar with the XR, but here’s a thread on degassing an HR. If you don’t have a degassing tool a pair of fine needle nose pliers should work.
