If you’ve been following about the early receivers of the Delta, you know my Chrono started reading intermittently and then stopped working. Bob Corcorran had a suggestion of how to tell if it was just poor electrical connection and probably easily adjusted. He was correct.
So remove the Shroud by removing the two set screws and pulling off. It removed easily.
Then look at the sensor assembly. If the gun is “on” the red light in the photo should be solid. If not then the electrical connection isn’t good. In this photo it’s “on”.
If off, loosen the two set screws shown here and wiggle/push the connector towards the breech. The red light should come on.
Once it’s on, hold the piece tight against the breech connection and tighten the set screws, checking to make sure your red light stays on. (Make sure your gun doesn’t time out while doing this).
Slide the shroud back on, tighten the two set screws and you’re good to go.
