Daystate Delta wolf Performance leaking

Today my Delta wolf .177 fac performance bought in december 2024 started to leak trough the transfer port.
I have been shooting around 200 shots with it.

I have changed the o-rings on the valve pin and re-lubed the valve. But it didnt solve the leaking.

Can anyone tell me what to look for? I suspect a bad valve but everything looks good when I inspect it.

These o-rings are changed

I suspect the valve sealing might be the problem, but it looks good. The seating also looks good

Any ideas?

Have you tried a couple of shots to see if it just needs to seat the valve? Just a thought.
Also a careful look at the metal mating surfaces to the o-rings. Even a small nick or bit of debris can create a leak or cut an o-ring. Take the o-rings off and pinch them all around to see if there may be a cut somewhere that isn't seen at a resting position. Use a magnifier or strong reading glasses.
Keep us posted.

Yes. Everything is checked.

Man I really hate to see this with a Brand New Gun..I am sorry to hear you are experiencing this on a gun that costs as much as this one did...

I would most definitely contact selling dealer and demand it be repaired at Daystate's expense, ALL expenses ...

With that out of the way, this has gone on long enough with Daystate and this line up of "wolf" guns.
For the ludicrous amount of money, they are charging for these they damn sure should Not be punishing the poor guys who have laid down that kind of money...
Furthermore they (Daystate) is fully aware of the issues but yet continue to make it the end users, and/or AoA's problem...
I would say contact Daystate but lord knows that is a complete waste of time and bandwidth...

Guys there are WAY too many Good, Reliable options out there for a Lot less money to put up with this ongoing nonsense from this Bloated Manufacturer and the sooner we all refuse to allow this conduct the sooner it will force change....

Lastly i am Not a Daystate hater by nature, they have SOME very good guns, and I own a couple, but this "wolf" deal grates on my nerves to no end.

I want to apologize to the OP, this post is in NO way aimed at you and I pray that Daystate does the right thing and I also pray that you have No further issues

Inspect the block where the valve and regulator are inserted. I had two yes 2 alpha wolf safari's in a row with blocks that had deep scratches, and machine marks, that prevented the valve from sealing in the block. I ended up just getting a refund AoA was fantastic to work with. This is just a major Daystate QC issue that needs to be addressed.

That is pretty crazy. OP I would replace every single oring and seal in the valve. Not just the ones you point too.

Yup I too thought that was nuts! Agree that all o-rings should be replaced. Just highly disappointed in Daystate, you would think extra care and inspection steps would be taken with their flagship rifle that is about the most expensive PCP in existence.

Just checked the block. Its smooth and well machined.
I inspected all orings again and changed them

Its still leaking

It must be the valve seat or the valve seating that has a fault which cannot be seen with the eye
Did you apply soapy water 💧 to the back of the valve housing? If the valve seat is bad the air would be leaking through the barrel. You could remove the chronograph and put the end of the barrel in a bowl of water.

If the back of the valve and the barrel are good the only other place I can think of is the regulator.

IMO, sooner or later, all PCPs will leak. Just the nature of the high pressure and seals.

If you have not already done so, may I recommend cleaning the entire valve housing and, and replacing all the seals in the valve after lubing them? Sometimes they get dry and stop working. Since it was not leaking before, I would assume this is a seal issue rather than a badly machined housing (then again you’d never know ☹️, you’ll have to eliminate common culprits).

Here is the issue I have with this statement...
If you look at the OP 1st line in his post
"Today my Delta wolf .177 fac performance bought in december 2024"

For what Daystate is charging for these you would Expect them to last longer than a few weeks before leaking, and more than likely bad parts.

Olddude I am Not starting anything with you personally, just continuing to try and drive home what seems to be and ongoing issue with said lineup of guns and the lack of response from Daystate themselves ..✌️

Air leaks out of barrel. If I take barrel out I can hear air comes out of the transfer port.
If I presh the hammer pin - with barrel removed - I hear more air leaking. So it must be the valve.
Yup the valve seat is bad. You got two choices, either send the whole thing back to AOA, or explain it to AOA and have them send you a new ultra valve. Since it seems that you don't have a problem troubleshooting and working on your own PCP I'd request a valve and replace it yourself that way you'll have spare parts. Worst caseif that still doesn't work you can send it back.

I have to say between your your problem and the my experience it seems that Daystate has some major quality control issues that need to be addressed. Good luck and keep us posted.

That is hard to disagree. It shouldn’t have lasted longer than a month. And yet, Daystate has been very quiet 🤷

On the plus side, the warranty in the US for these airguns is 5 years. That should give a piece of mind to the Daystate customers.

PS
Disclaimer! I have two Daystates, and they both have leaked (one from the valve, one from the regulator) 🤦‍♂️ Changing the seals fixed them.
