I liked the first cage, but was not satisfied with it. This is the second build. It was important to me to have full access to the gauges, and knob, while protecting them as well. A lot of the holders I see just don’t protect the valve/gauges. 

Old foam tile used as shock absorber.

pretty much done, just need a handle and to secure tank a bit more.

Thanks Glem. Yes, There’s about 1/2 inch difference between the wood and the foam.

Very nice!! I built one very like yours out of 3/4" pvc pipe and fiitings..
