Has anyone disassembled a Tatsu? Curious if anyone has pictures. Just put it on a 66fpe .25 and was amazed at the effectiveness compared to other mods I had for testing.

I haven’t either but I believe it is a screen with felt wrapped around it. You could add more to make it more quiet so I hear.

That's great to know, I have one on the way for a 50 fpe .25 Lego build, and it is LOUD - the barrel is 24" but really don't want to chop just yet, so I chose the Tatsu based on length.
My other Donny FL units are monocore based and wrapped in felt.

Web site say's mono-core. Then again (I believe) it used to say made i america, not that I care too much. The shogun at over 80fpe is silent, but not short.

I had a Tatsu for a while, and had it apart at some point. As I recall, it was made just like my other smaller Donnys',, machined aluminum internal - no baffles - wrapped by fine mesh metal screen - wrapped in heavy black felt. It performed well in lowering sound.
