I also just noticed in pic's #2 & #3 above they're using a zip tie in #2 and what looks like a hose clamp in #3 to hold these devices in place.
Maybe they have issues finding ones that fit properly without all that also?

Ive used zip ties on the couple of Bisley's that I have

If you move the eye cup, some of the scopes Ive used it on also moves the ocular ring and screws yer focus. SO I lock it down to protect myself from myself... YMMV...

The cheap-o unit I'm using now on my FT pistol moves the ocular ring around if you grab it and rotate it around also.
I find it to be useful though because when I switch from "sticks & bucket" to any kind of kneeling or standing position I can ever so slightly rotate the eye cup around to fit my face a little better. The very little I rotate it doesn't seem to interfere with my ocular focus as far as I can tell.
Maybe my eyes are so bad I just can't tell?
