The gang got together after a bunch of various trips to other events and met in Concord today. The days weather - temperature- was perfect! Set up went well, except for a few too many of the larger holed targets coming out on the carts first.
The crew adapted quickly and started to get sneaky with the reduced KZ animals appearing, with some of them placed at what one could call longer distances than normal?
"LSD" = Longer Shooting Distances
To soften the increased difficulty due to range, the winds leaned in with barely seen but often experienced swirl. More animals than normal had pellet strikes on the tails or far edges than usual.
Jim P. was kept away from the off hand lane but left his mark on painting dark blue faced targets that somehow disappear into the field when viewing. The upside was that the face plates were pretty clean throughout the match as competitors had a hard time spotting the targets to shoot in the first place.
A good time was had by most and no one demanded a refund, nor went to the Emergency room. Success!
