We had a great match today, Sunday September 19th.
Forecast was for a ton of rain and the past two days, the wind has been devilish.
However the morning broke with just overhead cover and periodic sprinkles, although one time it did accelerate to a bit of a deluge- we had one lane that was a designated Waterfall Lane.
We don't shoot much in the rain here in Northern California, and for the newer shooters, there was the question: " what does the rain do to the pellet".
It turns out- not that much. The winds were minimal and I think everybody was pretty happy with their scores. The light was incredible, with shades of color that added excitement as the storm passed over our heads.
Kevin shot his personal best with a borrowed rifle and Son broke out his springer, impressing everyone. Jim made it through the match with just one scope and had v respectable finish.
There were 62 points possible.
