I won this rifle at the Pyramid Cup and was told I should get a UTG Compensation scope mount for RWS airguns, but every place they are on backorder. This is my first break barrel springer so any help would be greatly appreciated.

I will try it, I cleaned the barrel, made sure there was no cleaner/oil inside and shot it with the sights about 10 pellets....Waaaaaaay more twang than my TX200 that has been tuned....Plus I am getting "smoke" coming out of the barrel so guess I will need to take it apart and check the lube....

A little smoke at first is sort of normal , i would just shoot for a while . ( notice i said " a little ")

Should not need droop compensation mounts or scope on the ems ..lol
It has that adjustment built in the gun with them 2 screws ..

Well I played with it today and here is a 5 shot group at 27 yards...(177 pellet for reference) I set it up with a very quick sight in for the Tuesday morning FT shoot tomorrow. It is pistol/springer day so targets go out to only 35 yards....We shall see how it does off of bucket and sticks tomorrow

I have a 34 EMS Lawrence of Arabia edition, same thing as yours except sand colored stock instead of the legion green. I used BKL mounts with a Hawke scope and it hasn't moved. The bigger issue with that gun has been the lead-in of the bore when you load pellets is a bit lose and like to slide out if you tip the barrel up. It's a frustrating experience.

For the pellet falling out of the breech, maybe try some finger nail polish to the inside of the barrel to snug up the tolerance a bit. All 3 of my Diana 34 EMS had that loose feature. That may work for a few moons.

I used a 1 piece mount and an Aztec scope I had sitting around. Need to pull chrono out, but it likes the 10.3’s so far. I hope to take it apart in the next few days and clean it really good and relube the inside.
Guess I will know how it does in a few hours.
No time before the shoot, but I need to see how to adjust the trigger….

First half of the match went pretty good…20 out of 24……2nd not so much….i went back to the sight in range and was missing, not by a lot but missing….When I got home I had 1 scope mount screw loose and 2 scope screws….After a little tightening up and some trigger adjustment I was back on track.

Glad to hear it's shooting well for you! Watch the bottom black piece of plastic of the grip, I've had it pop out a few times from shooting vibrations, not a big deal but no one wants to lose pieces of their gun!
