Diana Diana 34 in 177 ??

Can't go wrong with a Diana 34. It's the sh!t pellet rifles are made of.

The crosman 177 are 2 different weights. Depending on altitude and rifles one (or the other) will shoot (almost) as good as anything you can buy. Shoot 500 of both before you decide which is best.

Then get that weight in H&N or JSB pellets and decide if the accuracy is worth the extra cost.

Mine likes the 7.9 better than the 10.3. The JSB's shoot best but not that much. The H&N shoot great and are the best value if you want accuracy. The Crosmans ain't bad. Your mileage may vary.

I have an older model 38 that is basically the same gun minus the open sights! This is from 1988 and T01 trigger but it shoots pretty much what ever you feed it very well.

Was thinking about to sell my .177, D34 (classic).. less than 200shots out of it. Bought it back in ‘21. Private sale value about $200 from what am told (literally hour ago on the phone w a retailer we all know :)

Wanted to see what I was about to get rid of… uh, no… am keeping her.

Solid.. no twang, no nothing. Just a solid thud. JSB Hades 10.34gr, flying at 760-750fps. Heavy hitter she is, though her wood stock not so sexy.

My D34 has a split in the stock where the rear screw goes through. Its holding up great after some minor reinforcement but it wont last forever.

I've been looking at replacements...few and far between. I've never seen an aftermarket stock. Nor a synthetic stock that would fit.

Is there another Diana model with a stock that could be easily modified?
