Diana 350 Magnum .22

I get one ( new ) for about twenty years now . Didn't shoot it very often because I find this gun kicks a lot and at this time I didn't have no experience how to hold a springer to shoot it accurately . After that I get PCP....😊.

A few weeks ago I decided to go back to springers , just for fun ; so I took my 350 Magnum and I'm just working on it , cleaning the barrel and putting a good scope ( this gun is a scope killer...) , addind a moderator....

Next week I'll try to shoot it , but , all in all I think it's a good gun , powerfull and accurate and , yes ,....German quality .

Ok, thanks guys! I really appreciate the suggestions and will look into both of those. The UTG line seems to get recommended a lot so, I'll check out their line of scopes.

You’re also good off buying a Bushnell Banner 2 3-9x40 or 3-9x50. Or, an Athlon. Throw a members classified ad up for a scope. A lot of people have unused scopes that they would gladly get rid of in that weight and magnification range.

Well, it arrived and so far, I like the feel of it. It is a bit longer than the Hatsan 95 I got. Pouring cats and dogs here in my part of Oregon so, sighting and shooting will come at a later date. I have a pellet sample pack coming and will find the right load and get it sighted in as soon as possible.

Really nice looking rifle!!! What scope are you planning to put on it? Also, what rings?

Really nice looking rifle!!! What scope are you planning to put on it? Also, what rings?

I really have no idea what I'm going to use on this magnum springer! I'm so cotton picking confused on all the answers for a springer rated scope, it's just frustrating! But, I am still researching so, who knows?

No!! Personally I would never purchase a REFURBISHED. Generally you are simply buying someone's problem. The Diana 350 at the moment is a bit hard to find and I am not sure if they plan to continue to manufacture them. This company is geared more towards the EMS 34 in the States at the moment. However you can find them still for sale with a bit of research. You just never know what is wrong with any refurbished air rifle. Sometimes it can be as serious as the breech with excess clearance or as simple as a missing stock screw. Generally though it is something serious.

I have two of them, both in .22. One is the original Classic and the other is the Pro Model with shorter barrel and large muzzle cocking lever. Both have significant cocking force required, however not as much as a Hatsan Sniper or Gamo magnum.

Best pellet in both for me is the JSB 18.13 or the FX 18 equal, same pellet, different name.

Accuracy is fantastic once you learn to shoot this rifle and one inch groups are realistic at 60 yards.

The trigger is great and can be set scary light. One of the reasons it is so accurate. I love the trigger, and wish I could fit the T-06 to my HW95. I consider it a better trigger than the Rekord. Great trigger.

The rifle is long and lean and has great looks. It is also much lighter than the average air rifle and is not so heavy to carry around hunting all day.

Now for the negatives. Grin......yep there is some of those. First off this rifle will shoot itself apart. I mean stuff will start to fall off. So once you get one and think it is okay and does not have a bad seal from the box, the first thing to do is thread lock every screw, nut and bolt you can find. It does not hurt to use supper glue on the stock where the stock screws fasten to harden the wood a bit. And make darn sure the flat washer is against the stock. You can either remove the iron sights or thread lock them. Thread lock or not the rear one is going to work loose and fly off. Run the elevation adjustment on the rear sight down tight and check it often. The entire assembly will work loose and the parts and little ball bearings will go flying. Thread lock on everything is a requirement for this one.

I have had to replace the rear auto safety lever several times on both rifles. It is made from cheap pot metal and it will with several thousand shots break and the rear half will go flying. It is not hard to fix, just do not be surprised when it does break. It is just pot metal. This rifle has a lot of recoil and it will shoot itself to death. A company in England called Chambers has them.

Scopes, well I am older and blind so I have to have higher magnification to see those little half inch dot targets at range. So for me I use a Hawke Airmax 6-24 on one and a Vortex 6-25 FFP on the other. I also use the Diana Bullseye mounts for both. Make sure with this mount you find and thread lock the four small set screws that hold the mount together. They are in the bottom part of each scope ring and hold the mount together. Those little set screws will vibrate loose and the entire thing will fall apart if you do not. Also some scopes have an adjustment circle pin on the bottom that sticks out, this will not work with the Bullseye. It has to be a scope with a flat bottom with no protruding parts or it will hit the mount and not allow it to work. The Airmax scopes are tried and true and work well.

Enjoy your rifle. It is a good one provided you know a bit about it and head off most of the problem before they can happen.

This is one of my favorite hunting rifles. Accurate and light enough to carry. I use a loop sling with mine and have never drilled the stocks.

Cheers

Kit

Enjoy your new to you rifle. I bought a 350 in .177 new From Numrich Gun Parts 1 yr ago.

Would have rather had .22 but price was too good to pass ,NIB for 250. and shipping.

Last week they still have them listed put in cart to see sale price. Its been a great

shooter after i broke it in a bit and figured out how it wanted to be held.

Running a 4x12 x40 Hawke Vantage and a RWS Lockdown mount for over 300 rds

so far without issue.
