Hello new to the site I have a Diana model 48 in 22 cal love this rifle but it destroys ever scope I have put on it any suggestions also looking for composite stock as my kids are rough hate to mess my beautiful wood up . thanks for the add
I tuned mine down using a Vortek Pg4 kit - took about two coils off of the spring. Lubricated using Air Venturi's tune-in-a-tube (very sparingly). Made it super smooth to shoot with minimal recoil.
The guy I got mine from had a full overhaul done it shoots very smooth and accurate . but after awhile the glass in scopes start hazing up some even the glass has chips but these aren't high roller scopes one was the scope that comes with the combo 4x32 , umerx 4x12
I've got a new utg varmint 3x9x40 I was going to use but going to higher magnification. tomorrow a epl 6x24 arken that is going on my mk12 may go on the 48 will it matter using two piece scope rings it has the one piece droop mint hate two screw it up
And that what I'm afraid of , the guy I got it from told me not to tinker with it ! But back then 1" scopes was the thing guess I just need to break down and buys good scope that is Springer rated and warranty
Need a drooper mount and very good rings,a magnum springer scopes help to play it safe, there are quite a few of them.I use a Bushnell older Legend scope,I do not know if the newer Legends are as strong.
