I have a 48 in .22 looking for scope that isn't too expensive that will hold up on this monster . previous owner had it tuned and added scope droope base shoots very accurately but scopes don't last . also any leads as to where I can find a synthetic stock thanks

I have an old Simmons 44 mag made in the Philippines. It survived on a Theoben Eliminator for a few thousand rounds.

I had a UTG scope that I had on an RWS 48 .22, never any issues . I also had an inexpensive Mantis scope on a D34 that never failed.

What happens is they fog up like they loose there nitrogen if that's what's in there

I have a Hawke Air Max on my 48 .177. I have put about 50 shots through it without issue. I would suggest getting a scope base with the set-screw that anchors it to the rail, to mitigate movement.
