Diana Airbug? Thoughts, comments?

I'm looking for a new pistol, and the Diana Airbug .177 is looking good for me.

I don't see many posts online at all about it. I understand it's based on the CP1, which has lots of third-party parts but hardly any discussion.

Am I thinking straight? Or should I think about something else?

What I want is CO2, Illinois-legal (.177 and < 700fps), target, under $200, both magazine and single-shot capable, no blowback, and doesn't look like a bunch of parts jumbled together. The Airbug doesn't have a rail, but I can 3D print one to hang under it for a laser because iron sights and my old eyes don't work together any more.

It doesn't have to look like a real gun, but it can't look like the junkyard wars function-over-form that I've seen out there (mostly as rifles).

People would be bragging and raving about it if it were really great. I personally like to buy mostly all kinds of airguns however as a personal choice I like accurate or at least fun to shoot guns and this one just doesn't fit my bill due to not meeting my accuracy criteria after watching this.

I would order a single shot 177 Crosman Custom Shop pistol with a Lothar Walther barrel instead for around $135 according to what Hapo posted. I would also buy a Crosman Vigilante first if looking for an accurate repeater type pistol.

I took a look at the Crosman Custom and really like the options there. I went through several of those options and it was pretty cool what I could build for the money I'm ready to spend.

The only problem I see is that it doesn't take a mag. Single shot only is not going to get me to buy.

I really appreciate the help. I didn't know about the Custom Shop and that's really enticing for something at some point.

Which 2300? They have the 2300s & 2300t that are basically 2240’s with some upgrades. Or you have the 2300KT from the custom shop. If you have the patience to wait I would get the 2300 from the custom shop rather than the ready to buy 2300’s. This way you can pick the barrel length and decide if you want to pay extra for an LW barrel(totally worth the money btw), also the option to get walnut grips is nice
