Picked up Diana Bandit PCP pistol in 22cl the other day. I was curious on how well a $180 dollar airgun was going to shoot. First impression was smaller and lighter then imagined. The grip was just horrible though.
Luckily Buck-Rail makes a good replacement at a reasonable cost.
After trying a few different pellets the JSB 15.9g shot the best. On a full charge of 200 bar I can get 3 mags( 21shots ) plus a couple more before dropping to 100 bar. Velocity started at 660fps, rose to 710fps then by shot 21 back down to 640fps. Best accuracy was at the 120-150 bar range.
Noise level is ok with the supplied moderator. Trigger compared to my FX guns isn't anywhere close. Probably a 3lbs+ pull with an ok break. The gun is bolt action and seems to fairly smooth.
For $180 there are no real complaints. I would say it over exceeded my expectations. I mounted a red dot site I also bought from Buck-Rail. Shooting off a bag from my bench at 15 yards groups are well under a inch ( see pic).
With the Buck-Rail grip and sight this will make a good close range pest controlling airgun. We will see how it holds up over the long run
