Diana Chaser rifle barrel wont fit

Just got a Chaser today from P.A. was setting it up to put the rifle barrel in and it will not go into the block, first try it ate the first o-ring cut right accross at the transfer port.

the short barrel goes in and out just fine but the long barrel hangs up with about 1/4-3/8 not inserted any twisting just cuts the o-ring .

Anyone else have an issue like this?? any ideas.

China made stuff often has problems and they come with the cheap price. You can send it back and hope for better on the return or you can sand the barrel down a little to remove any burrs from the poor machining done and hopefully alleviate the problem. If you can get the front sight off you can stick it in a drill and run it up to speed then hold a block with sandpaper or a file to it to remove the burr or sharp area.

If you want to get fancy you can make a caveman lathe like this;

if it puts anything into perspective for you, i have a chase, bandit, and stormrider and several different barrels for the bandit in particular ... ive deburred and sanded 'every' breech end on all of them ... theyre all too tight and sharp and can cut orings .. doesnt take much ... 5mins with some 600 grit on the barrel 'and' breech hole and its all good ... warranty on a bargain basement gun eh lol .. well if your worried about it touch the end up with some cold blue .. doubt anyone would flag it unless you just really do it wrong, file on it for a half hour, use a bench grinder on it or something lol ...

Thus the "unless that isn't a concern" part. Everyone is different.
