Other Diana/ Daystate Raptor Revolver?

AoA has 4” and 6” models of the Diana Raptor .177 pellet revolver, as per AoA’s website the gun is manufactured by Daystate.

Anyone have any experience with these? Seem to use the same moon clip type pellet carriers as the Gamo revolver, but unsure of compatibility.

Is this gonna be about as close as you can get to a Umarex 586, but in a Python?

Daystate rifles seem to have a solid reputation, could you expect close to the same quality of manufacture at this sub $200 price point?

I emailed AOA asking and was promptly replied to, the gun is in-fact not manufactured by Daystate, but by Diana. Which if I had to guess means Artemis makes it, yet they dont offer a revolver themselves in their own markets that I am aware of so I'm not really sure.

When I first read Daystate my first thought was you meant Daystar?

I had to look to be sure. Sure enough, there it is, that don't sit well with me......

i think the pistol is closer to a Gamo PR-776 it uses the same ring mag and these have been for sale in Europe for many years
the Gamo PR-776 is a fine pistol

They do look very much like they could be the same guns with different branding, any experiences with the Milbro version?

Only to handle one in a shop. Seemed to be solid enough, but wasn't keen on the large logo and lack of spare magazines, so I gave it a swerve.
