If you are a fan of the two-stage Diana DIT (Diana Improved Trigger), be advised that it appears that these are being phased out on the latest-manufacture Chaser, and even more recently, the Airbug pistols. It seems the "bean counters" never rest, and always find new ways to save a few pennies here/there. The Bandit (PCP) pistol, however, is apparently still being supplied with the DIT. You can easily spot the difference visually by observing both the trigger "bow" and the trigger guards on the pistols. The DIT trigger uses a 3-screw setup for adjustments, one of which is located in the trigger bow itself, and accessible via a slot in the bottom of the trigger guard. The Diana pistols NOT equipped with the DIT will have a 2-screw setup, with the aforementioned adjustment screw now eliminated from the trigger bow. These 2-screw triggers also utilize a shorter sear lever as well. The trigger guards on the 2-screw triggers will also have the bottom adjustment "slot" eliminated as well, so the bottom of the guards are completely "solid". The Artemis CP-2 pistols (basically a copy of the Diana Chaser) have apparently suffered the same fate, all of these now have the "2-screw" setup as well. The good news is that BOTH the DIT and the 2-screw triggers can be adjusted for a very nice break. The DIT triggers are easier to "get there" though. For mods/adjustments on the DIT triggers check out marflow77's posts on these, great info w/pics on the DIT triggers.

well i disagree about the 3 and 2 adjustment screw
there are 3 screws in the trigger, but the center screw is for the safety and it put pressure on the spring and ball under it and was never used other than that
i for one took that screw and made it flush with the trigger by removing material off the top
so now the original had 2 screws and the new one has 1 screw but after some thinking the safety screw has now become an adjustment screw and back to 2 screws
in any case the adjustment screws on the CP2 or new Chasers are hidden and without the removal of the grip frame and adding a much longer screw at the rear screw 8-12mm and then finding a longer screw for the safety hole
so in reality the pistol was never a 2 stage trigger, when the front adjustment screw rests on and pushes against the sear, that cannot be a stage and the rear screw or the front screw just pushes the sear to fire
as the pistol comes from the factory early model there was no stage really the front screw rest on the sear and he rear screw did nothing as it was too short to reach the sear
the work around on the newer pistol is the right way to go and with the shorter sear adding a adjustment screw at the front of the trigger might not be worth while
i have ideas how to fix it but they are just ideas
