Diana Gen II Zero Recoil Solved my HW 90 Scope Eating Issue

This device solved my problem with my HW 90 destroying scopes. It ate three scopes before I put this little device on the weapon. It is a GEN two and has no slop in the rails and returns to original zero position after each shot. It really works. I have had no POI shifts since I put it on and the scope has had no issues. I know they are hard to find now but if you can get hold of one it will solve your scope problems with high recoil break barrel rifles.

Might be wrong and not the first time but if memory serves, the Gen ! ZR mounts were made in Germany and had a little slop in them. There was a p;ost here from back in something like 2019 on simple tweaks for it: https://www.airgunnation.com/topic/diana-bullseye-zr-aint-what-its-cracked-up-to-be-but-theres-a-fix/

The Gen 2 ZR mounts are made in China and were tweaked some to take that slop out of the rails. I have one. Also likely where any number of Chinese companies did their usual change something minor to beat the copyright stuff and trot it to market a buttload cheaper. I have a couple of those too with the name Mizugiwa on them. Only difference? The Chinese copies have the insert to change between 1 inch and 30mm tubes but there's no extruded part on those inserts to hold them in the rings. The knockoffs are also only something like $18 on Amazon compared to almost $60 for the Diana branded ones.
