I bought this new 20 years ago and only shot it a few times. Just got it out and it's still like new but curious if anyone else's shoots 2.5ins. high at 10yds. I have the rear sight down as low as it will go. Tight groups but strange it shoots so high.

You can adjust the point of impact by placing some shims under the breech seal. As I recall, the shims are available for purchase, though I forget where, or, you can simply improvise. Which is exactly what I did.
Maybe cut some thin plastic rings to experiment with? Stiff card stock? Remember, it doesn’t take much, so add a little at a time. Be creative and you’ll solve the problem.

I just had this happen on a Winchester 353. I found a replacement sight for a friend, he said it didn’t shoot high last he shot it, years and years ago. I think first thing to try is a new breech seal. There are breech seal shims, but I haven’t seen any in stock where I looked. When you take out the old seal, look, there might be shims under it.
